  SATURDAY JULY 18, 2026 BLOCK ISLAND  Safe travel Tim, Marisa and Mike. Safe travel Chris and Donna ( our Deep River dock mates) Picture from Tim leaving Block Island.  Arriving at the Housatonic River, his home port. It rains a lot from 2 pm. We sleep, we play Uno, we talk about walking to the grocery store when the rain stops for a while then coming back by taxi. After saying several times "There will be a window in 15 minutes", we decide to call a cab. We ride in that window and come back walking.  We get caught in the rain at the marina (and we like Pina colada 🎶 😀)  Turkey sandwiches and raw string beans from our garden for dinner.  They're still fresh and snappy, crunchy.  It rains hard, there's lightning and thunder far behind. We'll sleep well in the drumming sound of the rain. Good night!

THE DAY MARISA CATHES A MAKEREL July 17, 2016 Block Island  What a beautiful fish, the picture doesn't give it justice. Its irradiant green and pink match Marisa's outfit. I think it's a nice meal but everyone else think it's a nice bait.  American point of view versus my Canadian one 😀. Everything is bigger in United States.  Marisa thanks the fish and hopes for a shark now. Well something bites hard but snaps the line.  The fish wins this time around.  We went to Coast Guard Beach by dighny,  Tim paddles. Scott and I walk to Charleston Beach. Montauk is there, somewhere  Mike, Tim and Marisa throwing the whistle ball.  Scott is afraid to reinjured his shoulder me... my pride 😆. We go swimming though with the thousands of minnows. No wonder there's makerels, seals, stingrays, sharks and whales. Back at the marina, Marisa catches 4 squids and 1 makerel. Tim took a picture of us. FOURTH DAY IN BLOCK ISLAND July 16, 2026  Scott takes a picture of the sunrise while taking Immer out for his business. Then back to bed.  We all sleep in this morning.  The three amigos. Mike comes by ferry. Scott and I have lunch with him at the Oar.  Tim joins us at the end.  He just got up, he wants breakfast.   Old friends. All of a sudden Tim feels restless and wants to do something. So he goes paddle boarding.  "Let's meet us at Champlin's" we say. He shows us the wrong direction so we correct him and watch  him go.  Marisa, Mike, Scott and I walk the beach there. No Tim. We have a drink and watch all around. After an hour we come back and here he is. Dude you showed me the wrong way, Ballard's is not over there. Scott and I : not Ballard's,  Champlin's.  Tim : Champlin's ooooh! Now I get it.   A FULL BLOCK ISLAND DAY July 15 2026 We wake up at 5 as usual, take the pugger for a walk at Champlin's. He is not happy about that but he has no choice 😆. Sun rise is always a treat to the eye. Then we go to Payne's.  Immer agrees with that because there's food there. I share my delicious breakfast sandwich with him There we see a yacht named  SKYFALL . I research it and find out that it is 190f. long and it is for sale for 24 millions. It can accommodate 14 guests and 14 crew members. You can charter it for 290,000$ for a week.  We see only one person on it. Now that the puggy is tired, we're going to Scotch Beach.  On our way to dinghy beach we notice our dock mates Chris and Donna are there. We stop by to say Hello. On the other side of Corn Neck road the water is refreshing.  Scott is in his glory.   July 14 2026. Block Island Up at the crack of dawn to feed and walk as a family. Baby sharks? Nope,  dogfish One leg duck... poor ducky He has trouble to follow 😔  Viking for sale.  Anyone interested?  I think the Canadian wild fires color the sun red.  Expresso martini for Tim, Scott and I.  Moscow mule for Marisa since they don't have hard kumboucha. Then wings at Poor People Pub then walking back to our boats. The boys stay up late, chatting and signing. The girls go to bed early. Good night!
