Rain

It started with fog   Then it poured as we were going to lunch with Bruce's family, aunt Becky, cousin Kelly and her  husband Mike. But first we had to deal with that while looking for a parking spot downtown Portsmouth. Then pay for it by signing up for an app first grrrr... what an hassle A pain but all worth it to spent time with family at the Old Ferry Landing. Oh, and Mark joined us after the meal. Thank you Bruce for that! Thankfully the sun came out and the walk back to the car was more enjoyable. Look at that beautiful building.  Cousin Jared talked about it as a good place to go and relaxe. The Hearth it's called. Then we relaxed on the boat and the sky was quite a show. We grilled some chorizo sausage for dinner that we got at the meat shop in Wallingford Square. And the sky show kept on going. It ended with to the sound of a trumpet

Maine lovers came for a visit

Image
We saw a little bit of blue sky this morning. So calm.  Little dinghing around. I like mirror pictures. Our Maine lover friends, Craig and Alex came for a visit.  Scott showed them around the area. Then we chilled out on the boat. We thought we saw a seal.... Nope. Then we searched for a restaurant to eat 🦞.  We ended up to Chauncey creek lobster pier. We all enjoyed our meal but God lobster is expansive (30$ for a roll). Thank you for your visit Craig and Alex!

Good morning from New Hampshire. Good night from Maine.

Good morning!  They closed at night. I never seen purple heart daisies before.  I love daisies.  We idled over to Safe Harbor Kittery Point located in the back channel of the Piscataqua River.  We grabbed our mooring.  The current was ripping in and we got it on the second trial.   This is the fifth state that Grand Boat visits.  We took a Uber to go back to Wenwoth to get our vehicle then we went to pay respect to Scott's grandparents. That's cool that they have now a similar view than from their house. We crossed the Piscataqua River that separates New Hampshire from Maine ( Jeopardy can ask that question and I will shout the answer to the TV 😆). We had lunch on the boat then went for a walk in Wallingford Square, downtown Kittery. We saw a pub with a meal for dog The area is dog friendly. Good night from Maine.

Gloomy day in Wentworth by the sea

I still enjoy the "dockscape" And Scott still enjoys the "boatscape" 😀  Look at that shiny anchor. We had breakfast on the boat then we went to see the movie Barbie on this rainy day.  We didn't like it. Then we went for lunch at Brastskellar pizza pub.  We had wings (they were good  but a little too spicy for me) first, then Scott had a Greek sausage pizza and it was delicious.  The sausage is made with orange peel and fennel seed... very flavorful.   I had a tossed salad. The Schlieper inlet at low tide.  Scott's grandpa and uncles had a mooring where they would tie the boat when they were planing to go fishing early.  There was a row boat there.  I can see it was a lot of work and planification.  It reminds me Bruce saying that he likes his lake house because it's always high tide 😀.  We went to see Kittery point to see where our mooring will be tomorrow.  We found it. We also saw this  What a sad sight. We went for a little walk in Prescot park i
