Good morning from New Hampshire. Good night from Maine.


Good morning!  They closed at night. I never seen purple heart daisies before.  I love daisies.

 We idled over to Safe Harbor Kittery Point located in the back channel of the Piscataqua River.


 We grabbed our mooring.  The current was ripping in and we got it on the second trial.  


This is the fifth state that Grand Boat visits. 

We took a Uber to go back to Wenwoth to get our vehicle then we went to pay respect to Scott's grandparents.



That's cool that they have now a similar view than from their house.



We crossed the Piscataqua River that separates New Hampshire from Maine ( Jeopardy can ask that question and I will shout the answer to the TV 😆).


We had lunch on the boat then went for a walk in Wallingford Square, downtown Kittery. We saw a pub with a meal for dog


The area is dog friendly.

Side by side with SeaTow

  Captain Ben of Sea Tow Eastern Connecticut comes to the rescue at 9:16. Side by side, that's how they get boats out of a slip.  It makes sense but I never realized that. It's gonna be a long ride back. Well it's actually pretty relaxing. The sound is so calm. We cannot help to recall our 2 friends John and Toolman who were towed from Sag Harbor in rough seas.  So rough that the line snapped. John had to hook another one.  He couldn't walk on the bow so he went through the top hatch.  How scary!  Our adventure is way more mellow.  We are listening to our favorite music, Stephen Kellog and enjoying the view. So nice! So pretty! Even  New London is calm, New London is always choppy. We can see Long Island. Captain Ben is letting us go now In Hatchett Reef Captain Tom of Sea Tow Central Connecticut is taking us over. Day 7

DAY 7 ON THE ISLAND,   July 20, 2024 Block Island  Scott wakes up a 3:30.  When he sees me moving he proposes a walk to Rodman Hollow which was our plan yesterday.   I said "I need a shower".  Scott:"yeah!".Good thing we did because soon after they shutt off the water for some digging.  After his too short night Scott gives up on the hike and goes back to sleep (night workers understand that).  I go to the Farmer's Market and get blueberries, lettuce and cucumbers. When Scott wakes up he goes and gets coffee. Then I make a sandwich for me and a wrap for Scott and we go to Coast Guard Beach. We stay there 6h.   Boats are coming in all day long. Scott finishes reading his book so I can read it. We walk pass the channel and look west at the open ocean in the direction of Montauk. We're thinking of going soon, it's not very far.  We can't see it though.   Seeing the seaweed I recall learning during the nature walk that they are a hiding place for many se
