Grand boat

  A BLESSED DAY IN P.J.! Port Jefferson by ferry August 24, 2025 Today is the big day we have been waiting for all week. We are going  sailing on our friends' boat "Lively up".  Scott is so excited. 7:45 we are at Bridgeport Ferry Terminal, waiting for the ferry to arrive. Here it comes. Here's  the captain backing up the ship. Scott tells me that's where we were supposed to come for the Counting Crows concert.  At 9:11 we starting to see the Port Jeff landmark. The two towers. Here's a higher perspective of Conscience Bay where we were on Fourth of July.  That could be us... so little.... actually we are even littler. "Lively Up" is somewhere in there. That's where we land when we come with the digny from Conscience Bay.  When we arrived at 9:45, John and Debra are at the terminal, waiting for us. We're having brunch at  Joey Z's, it's delicious and the service is excellent. Scott really enjoys his chicken  parm with lemon pepper pot...

  BYE-BYE BLOCK ISLAND July 27th 2025 I open my eyes at 4:47, see that Scott is up so I jump out of bed. 5:30 Captain Scott backs up this narrow passage and we are on our way. Red in the morning mariners take warning. Yes we know it's gonna rain but that's fine with us. Thank you Block Island for a delighted vacation! See you next year. Yeah two laps. Don't get too comfortable buddy, I won't stay sit down all ride long. Daddy's feeling goofy. Smooth sea. Smoth sailing  A little fog. There's a little swell.
