FOURTH DAY IN BLOCK ISLAND
July 16, 2026


 Scott takes a picture of the sunrise while taking Immer out for his business. Then back to bed.  We all sleep in this morning. 


Mike comes by ferry. Scott and I have lunch with him at the Oar.  Tim joins us at the end.  He just git up, he wants breakfast.  


Old friends.


All of a sudden Tim feels restless and wants to do something. So he goes paddle boarding.  Let's meet us at Champlin's. He showed us the wrong direction so we correcting him.  We see him going in the right direction. 
Marisa, Mike, Scott and I walk the beach there. No Tim. We have a drink and watch all around. After an hour we come back and here he is.


Dude you showed me the wrong way, Ballard's is not that way.
Scott and I : not Ballard's,  Champlin's. 
Tim : Champlin's oh! Now I get it.


Ribs for dinner. Thank you Tim for the meat and string beans. Thank you Mike for cooking. We contribute with pesto potatoes.

  A BLESSED DAY IN P.J.! Port Jefferson by ferry August 24, 2025 Today is the big day we have been waiting for all week. We are going  sailing on our friends' boat "Lively up".  Scott is so excited. 7:45 we are at Bridgeport Ferry Terminal, waiting for the ferry to arrive. Here it comes. Here's  the captain backing up the ship. Scott tells me that's where we were supposed to come for the Counting Crows concert.  At 9:11 we starting to see the Port Jeff landmark. The two towers. Here's a higher perspective of Conscience Bay where we were on Fourth of July.  That could be us... so little.... actually we are even littler. "Lively Up" is somewhere in there. That's where we land when we come with the digny from Conscience Bay.  When we arrived at 9:45, John and Debra are at the terminal, waiting for us. We're having brunch at  Joey Z's, it's delicious and the service is excellent. Scott really enjoys his chicken  parm with lemon pepper pot...

Today we go to Block Island

  TODAY WE GO TO BLOCK ISLAND  July 13, 2026 7:00 o'clock : the beginning of our journey to Block Island.  The Sheperds, who we were concern about them getting up early are ahead of us... thanks to Scott the waker upper šŸ˜†. Here's a screen shot of their first interaction:  Those two, I don't know how they are still friends  šŸ˜†  Mom and Dad are excited. Puggy doesn't care  "Grand booat, Grand booat take us to Block Island" šŸŽ¶ šŸŽµ  From Mystic we head south across Fishers Island Sound then east and to Watch Hill pass to Block Island sound. Except for some chop from the incoming tide at Watch Hill pass we have a good ride. Pretty sights Furthermore on the yellow brick road. Do you see what I see?   BACK TO REALITY  From Pilots Point to Deep River June 29th, 2026 The plan was leaving at 5:30 and I go to work for 7:30.  Well it's foggy.  I offer my boss to take an Uber he says not necessary, take your time and be safe.   We're up since 4 at 4:44 and we don't expect clear view before 10 so we walk Immer and admire the beautiful Pilots Point Marina.  We walk to Edd's place for a delicious breakfast sandwich.  With a view We leave our slip at 10:10 I cannot help to take a picture of that osprey. I bet that the owner of this house don't like Canadian.... geese šŸ˜†  Another good ride. At 10:28 we star to view the Connecticut River lighthouse.  She's dressed up for the 4th of July, the 250th anniversary. We return from the sea, makes us wonder why we return from the sea šŸŽ¶ šŸŽµ  Let's go to work
