TODAY WE GO TO BLOCK ISLAND

July 13, 2026

7:00 o'clock : the beginning of our journey to Block Island.

The Sheperds, who we were concern about them getting up early are ahead of us... thanks to Scott the waker upper πŸ˜†.
Here's a screen shot of their first interaction:

Those two, I don't know how they are still friends  πŸ˜†

Mom and Dad are excited.

Puggy doesn't care

"Grand booat, Grand booat take us to Block Island" 🎢 🎡

From Mystic we head south across Fishers Island Sound then east and to Watch Hill pass to Block Island sound. Except for some chop from the incoming tide at Watch Hill pass we have a good ride.

Pretty sights

Furthermore on the yellow brick road.

Do you see what I see?

We started to see our destination at 7:49.  Smooth seas, clear views.  Life is good.

8:20: we're pretty much there.  Surprisingly Tim is quite behind.  Well his new boat is heavier than ours.  We're waiting for them and enter the Great Salt Pond together.

Happy to be here

8:22 : Boat Basin can you get us in?
Yes captain, come on in we'll catch you.

Irye will be across us with a finger.

Awwww, thank you! No need to anchor and wait.

Scott put 2 bumpers on the outside of the boat because a lot of dighy pass close and might hit us, sometimes boats too. And it's very tight.  Well today it is useful because a floating dock pass by.

Dinghy ride is in order.

The first of many.

We walk to town.  Tim and Marisa go to Disco night at Captain Nick's. Captain Scott is cranky and not interested in the big crowd. We walked back home (our boat). He drops in bed and I hear him snoring almost instantly.

Good night!
