Mystic here we come. 


Nice ride


So much so I could stay comfortably sit down with my puggy on my lap 


We made it in a good time, probably around 1 hour and 40 minutes.

There's always a big boat there.


There's always interesting clouds around here.


Immer got a good brush... omg the hair that came out of that little body.  Scott had a nightmare about the boat sinking because of the huge amount of it.  Hair clogging the bilge. 

Lunch was pizza for Scott and couscous salad for me.  Then a dinghy ride downtown was in order.


 Like Styx says "reflexion on the water sparks my memory" all happy, none sad, such as when Immer was a puppy and got a lot of attention.


That was eight years ago 


 Nice nautical rope art on the bascule bridge.  A lady offered to take a picture of me.  Last time we came, it was during the beginning of the pandemic.  It was pretty sad and ghostly. We were afraid of one another and stayed away from one another.


I missed the sunset. We're tired we got up at 4:46 this morning.

 First weekend of the season May 12, 2024 Our clean boat, she looks good for her age 😀.  What's better than a lap? Two laps... pug life. Side by side with SeaTow

  Captain Ben of Sea Tow Eastern Connecticut comes to the rescue at 9:16. Side by side, that's how they get boats out of a slip.  It makes sense but I never realized that. It's gonna be a long ride back. Well it's actually pretty relaxing. The sound is so calm. We cannot help to recall our 2 friends John and Toolman who were towed from Sag Harbor in rough seas.  So rough that the line snapped. John had to hook another one.  He couldn't walk on the bow so he went through the top hatch.  How scary!  Our adventure is way more mellow.  We are listening to our favorite music, Stephen Kellog and enjoying the view. So nice! So pretty! Even  New London is calm, New London is always choppy. We can see Long Island. Captain Ben is letting us go now In Hatchett Reef Captain Tom of Sea Tow Central Connecticut is taking us over. Day 7

DAY 7 ON THE ISLAND,   July 20, 2024 Block Island  Scott wakes up a 3:30.  When he sees me moving he proposes a walk to Rodman Hollow which was our plan yesterday.   I said "I need a shower".  Scott:"yeah!".Good thing we did because soon after they shutt off the water for some digging.  After his too short night Scott gives up on the hike and goes back to sleep (night workers understand that).  I go to the Farmer's Market and get blueberries, lettuce and cucumbers. When Scott wakes up he goes and gets coffee. Then I make a sandwich for me and a wrap for Scott and we go to Coast Guard Beach. We stay there 6h.   Boats are coming in all day long. Scott finishes reading his book so I can read it. We walk pass the channel and look west at the open ocean in the direction of Montauk. We're thinking of going soon, it's not very far.  We can't see it though.   Seeing the seaweed I recall learning during the nature walk that they are a hiding place for many se
