The day Facebook friends became friends, July 20th,2023

Left over French toasts with blueberries, yogurt and maple syrup for breakfast. I'm happy I saved my stale  bread and use it in such a delicious way.

We went to Coast Guard Beach all morning. Scott watches the boats go by and I watch kids fishing and birds.

They're doing a good job but had no luck, the fishes did πŸ˜€.

We go to the boat for lunch then go back to meet Debra Baker and her husband.  Scott talked to her  3 years ago on that beach and we are friends on Facebook since then.  Her and her husband have a sailboat in a yatch club in Port Jefferson.  We've been missing them the past 2 years so today it is happening.

3 years ago John and I were not talkative but today was another story and the conversation was fluent all afternoon.

They told a funny story about a French guy that looks like Jacques Cousteau.  He got tangled with their anchor line, in the middle of the night and dove to fix the mess.

Here we are.  She's a talented artist, she water paints and finds inspiration everywhere.

She took all these pictures.

John used to race a sailboat and convinced Scott to come here for the race week and maybe volontiring and be part of it some day.

They had a nice shelter for shade.  Spending the day in the sun was hard on my eyes, maybe I should get one of those.

After dinner we went for a drink at Champlin's and the sunset was the color of my rum punch.

Another fantastic day in paradise with wonderful people.
