Greytefull day
GREYTEFULL DAY
Block Island July 20th, 2025
The marina locked the bathroom for the night so we walk to Payne's. We are half an hour too early for breakfast so we decide to walk around meanwhile.
Then decide to walk to the airport and eat there.
My huevos rancheros are delicious. Scott devoures his eggs and sausages before I think of taking a picture. The sausage patties are generous.
Walking is the best way to see the Island.
We encounter a gentle rain.
My eyes are grateful for this break of sun.
Coast guard beach in the afternoon to see the fishing boats coming in for the fishing tournament.
Sailing saiboats are so beautiful.
Even more so when two sails are up.
I'm interested in terns diving and fishing, they're to quick for me to take a picture or a video.
The tide is coming in and everyone is moving up except stubborn Scott.
He ends up alone on his own island 😆.
After supper we ding to Champlin's to see those boats closer.
Immer doesn't like to go in the dinghy but when he's in there he enjoys the fresh air.
Tomorrow we are going to see them leaving at 5 am. Emilio and Lenore says they'll be there. The alarm is set for 3:35.
