Pretty skies
PRETTY SKIES

Block Island
When I see the sky like this I believe a little more in God. My cousin Annie and I decide that it is our gone loved ones taking a peek at us below 😀. Hi Dad!
At 7:45 we walk to the grocery store for charcoal and beer. Well they cannot sell alcohol before 10. So we brought the charcoal and a few other things to the boat. At 9:30 Scott goes back and I make lunch. We spent the rest of the day on Coast Guard Beach.
Those saiboats amaze me in that narrow channel.
That boat came out of nowhere. The guys beached the boat, went to take a pee in the bushes. Talk about their boat to curious passerbys and went back out.
For a while we thought they were sinking then just like that they were gone zigzaging gayly.
New Harbor is busy, all three marinas are packed with giant sport fishing boats. The dinghy dock is so tight. We had trouble to find a spot and there's not an inch free next to our boat. Thank God someone help us. We throw him our line he ties it on a cleat (not the right way but that's ok) and we climb on another dinghy to get out. Scott lost the key of the dinghy in the water in the process. He hopes to retrieve it at low tide. Thankfully my captain is foreseeing and has a spare one. He has a spare of pretty much everything.
There's a line for the launch all day. Scott chatt with someday from one dock to the other. He said he is on a sailboat and came to get beer but the store closed at 6. Scott offered him 2 😆, that's my husband.
I missed the sunset and disappointed that the full moon is not there.
Come on pretty, don't be shy, show yourself.
Thank you!
