Mundane Tuesday

 MUNDANE TUESDAY

Block Island, July 22nd

Our morning walk is to the old Club Soda for laundry. Then we walked around Neptune House for half an hour.

Scott notice a tall tree.

And I see an adult and a baby giraffe πŸ¦’ πŸ˜€

We transfert the cloths to the dryer then walked to the Old Harbor for a breakfast  sandwich.

After 1 1\2h. the cloths are not completely dry but we bring them back home (boat) anyway and hang them.

The temperature is a little chilly.

In some point we walked to Payne's and see a bear in a pickup truck πŸ˜€.

We were planing to walk to Dory Cove to see the sunset but we change our mind.

Right before we go to bed a small boat dock at the old port launch spot.  Scott tells them that they cannot stay there and help them to go in front of us.

They are coming from the Hudson River... wow ...in that little boat.  Oh! And by the way we are not the smallest one anymore πŸ™‚.

They say that when they were about 5 miles off Montauk they felt a big hit and their propeller was damaged.  They think a shark tried a nibble at it... yikes!

Their names are Eddy and Sue. They keep their boat at Safe Harbor Haverstraw, NY, on the Hudson River. They live in West Milford, NJ.
